Every month, the Female Gaze Book Club explores a feminist theme and invites an author to tell us about her work. In September, we welcome Pauline Le Gall, journalist and author of "Feminist utopias on our screens - Female friendships in action" (Ed. Daronnes). In this first essay, she analyzes the representations of female friendships in films and series. She explores pop culture and what is at stake there, combining personal reflections and research work.
