Every month, the Female Gaze Book Club explores a feminist theme and invites an author to tell us about her work. In March, we welcome Laurène Daycard, freelance journalist, specialist in the status of women around the world.
She will come and talk to us about her latest book, "Our absentees - Why feminicides?" published by Editions du Seuil. In this first-person investigation, the author takes us to meet survivors and bereaved families, but also with the perpetrators of these acts.
By observing and exchanging with them, Laurène Daycard tries to go to the origin of feminicides and offers a personal reflection on the notion of reparation.
