We welcome the founders of Censored magazine: Apolline and Clémentine Labrosse.
Every month, the Female Gaze Book Club explores a feminist theme and invites one or more authors to talk to us about their work.
In April, the sisters behind Censored come to present their magazine to us.
Censored addresses feminist and lgbtqia+ issues through the prism of art and culture.
Halfway between the precious object and fanzine culture, Censored defends editorial freedom and graphic experimentation: no two issues are alike, the contents are both close to contemporary political, cultural and societal issues and timeless.
Each theme is chosen instinctively, moving, even emotional. Each edition is made from papers with multiple textures and printed in France.
