Heavenly Sweetness was founded in 2007 by Franck Descollonges previously at Virgin Records, and Antoine Rajon, formerly artistic director and founder of the label Isma’a and Parisjazzcorner.com site.
The label has made a name in the world of jazz and black music in general, thanks to the success of Anthony Joseph, Guts, Blundetto, The Foundation Rongetz reprints and albums of Don Cherry, Doug Carn, Raphael or series of vinyl reissue of Blue Note or éthiopiques catalog pearls. The quality of work done for these editions is also recognized by jazz lovers and vinyl worldwide.
