David Assaraf is a singer-songwriter, but also a comedian and a stage director.
He played under the direction of Didier Bezace in the play "La Version de Browning" (2 awards and 5 nominations at the Molières) and in the movie of Gabriel LeBomin « Les Fragments d’Antonin » (film nominated for the Cesars).
As for music, he wrote, composed or collaborated with Sylvie Vartan, Arthur H, Keren Ann, Carmen Maria Vega, Matthieu Chedid ...
His first album, “Ceux qui dorment dans la poussière” is a mix of different atmospheres and influences: Trip-hop, jazz, soul music, classical music, contemporary and experimental music.
His first album “Ceux qui dorment dans la Poussière” has been co-directed by Ian Caple (Bashung, Tricky Tindersticks...) and Vincent Polycarpe, Jérôme Goldet and Matthieu Chedid participated in the recording. It will be released on 24 May 2019.
