This fall, Une Louve de Papier aka Lou Gaspari is offering a series of writing workshops on different themes. The first ? Literature and ecology, how to write new stories?
While the ecological crisis finally seems to be gaining importance in public debate, changes are slow to come.
More and more of us are taking action, wanting to act, or wanting to do more. Writing and literature can help us...
Our imagination and our way of seeing and interpreting the world are largely shaped by the fictions that surround us. However, very often, fiction that addresses ecology are dystopian or post-apocalyptic stories.
How then can we get rid of the idea that catastrophe is inevitable? This workshop will offer its participants the opportunity to familiarize themselves, to practice creating new stories, and will perhaps encourage them to build a movement of literary ecology or ecological literature!
