Kick off the weekend with a creative, hands-on bookbinding workshop. Paloma, bookbinder in Saint-Ouen, will guide you in making an accordion notebook, by folding the paper, using traditional binding techniques.
You will learn how to pinch, cut, assemble, glue, sew sheets and more!
Depending on your preferences and your use of the notebook, you can choose between an ideal paper for drawing and a more rigid paper for photos. For the covers, Paloma will show you different techniques and materials to use according to your wishes (paper, cardboard, ribbon).
The workshop takes place in groups of 5 people maximum.
You will have at your disposal different tools (individual and shared) to bring your creations to life: cutting mat, scissors, scalpel, needles, glue, metal rulers, bone folder, awl, hammer, foam board, pliers, among others.
You leave the workshop with the satisfaction of having made your own notebook and of being able to leave with it for new adventures!
The price of the workshop includes all the material and a free drink.
