It was first a family story. The Marx Sisters were born in 2012 from a desire to sing Yiddish and play the music of Ashkenazi Jews.
First there was a guitar and voices: an accordion joined them, a clarinet added the vibrato of his melodies, and the bass brought the gravity of his harmonies.
The Marx Sisters have chosen to affirm that Yiddish is a very lively language as soon as it is sung and resonates in the tremolo of a clarinet, ricochets on the keys of the accordion, close to the strings of the guitar and bass and unfolds in the grace of a mesmerizing voice.
