Exceptional session the "LE RÊVE FRANÇAIS", directed by Christian Faure in 2017, in the presence of one of the main actors Yann Gaël. The story is based on the consequences of Michel Debré's creation in 1963 of the Office for the Development of Migration in the Overseas Departments (Bumidom). That year, the crisis due to the closure of the sugar industries led to unemployment in the overseas departments (particularly in the French West Indies and Reunion Island). The proposals for jobs and a better life, an "El Dorado", by the Bumidom triggered the departure of many Ultramarines, aged 18 and 35, to the Metropolis.

Overseas families will experience mixed and singular destinies. Thus, Samuel (Yann Gael) and Doris (Aïssa Maïga), from Guadeloupe, and Charley (Aude Legastelois), from Reunion Island, are among those who have crossed the threshold of their "French dream" and are drawing the outlines of today's France, a France marked by this cultural richness, this imagination of the "everyday world".
